Turnkey Projects
Our Project team has acquired a vast amount of experience in the creation and development of turnkey projects
Tax Stamping System
Automation Republic’s resident engineers developed a system that pulls government prescribed tax sequences from a designated server and feed the data to a laser printer. The tax stamp system is developed on a Linux core using codesys runtime and python running on an industrial grade PC which has multiple industrial communication protocols.
The system is developed to import the newly updated tax code file, which consists of +- 1.5 million unique tax codes, from the server to the IPC, from where each code is transmitted via rs232 to the Mundi scan laser for printing.
70 000 products are processed per hour which equates to approximately 20 products a second with a unique code and the components we provided are able to keep up with these speeds.
Read Server Data
using ethernet
The system is able to connect to a host server and extract tax code sequences to be used for on glass bottles
Mundi Scan Laser
used for printing tax codes
We are one of approximately three solution providers in the world that has developed this system which incorporates full intergration from the customers remote server down to the physical laser printer on the line

Test Equipment by Automation Republic
Solenoid test bench
When one of our customers needed to thoroughly test a component of their machine before using it the field they turned to Automation Republic to find the solution.
Using a B&R X20CP1486 PLC and a Automation Republic custom-built 550VDC drive we were able to create a system that not only monitored various elements of the solenoid such as temperature in several different places on the solenoid as well as stroke length, stroke time, power consumption and current drawn with each activation of the solenoid but also provided the control for the solenoid to simulate field activities.
These measurements were all logged to a CSV file with sampling times in the microsecond range, creating data sets of thousands of individual samples per hour of testing.
The full rig was created by Automation Republic’s project team including all of the mechanical, electrical, software application and pneumatic components.
